Travel Italy Guru is led by Ariela Bankier (MSc, MA) — an experienced travel expert, eno-gastronomic lecturer, consultant, and the author of six guidebooks on Italy, including the best-selling "Tuscany for the Shameless Hedonist."
She holds degrees summa cum laude from the University of Pisa (MSc) and Universitat Rovira i Virgili (MA) and teaches at the International Food Tourism program at Fondazione Campus.
She also serves as Head of DMC Terre di Pisa, the official tour operator for the Terre di Pisa destination, working with trade partners and local institutions to develop authentic, slow-travel experiences across the region.
