Ariela Bankier (MSc) is a certified tour leader, enogastronomic lecturer, travel consultant, and the author of six successful guidebooks about Italy. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pisa where she currently teaches at the International Food Tourism program.

As a certified sommelier (and head sommelier for fiorvino.com) and master cheese taster she regularly leads wine tasting experiences at the best and most interesting wineries and farms in the region. She has written extensively about Italian food, wine, and culture, and one of her main passions is leading fun, delicious and shamelessly hedonistic food and wine tours to hidden corners of Tuscany.

Together with her team, Ariela regularly puts together memorable and bespoke itineraries for visitors who want to see the best of Tuscany (and Italy!).
